Oscar is my dog. He is small and brown. He thinks he runs the city.
So we let him try. He took a new job each month for a whole year. He was the mayor. He was a firefighter. He even worked the trash truck.
He was not good at any of it. But he looked great. Now it is a calendar, and it helps pets who need a home.

Most fundraisers have costs. The printing gets paid first. The cause gets what is left.
Not this one. We run The UPS Store in West Monroe. The store prints each calendar for free. I pay the card fees myself.
So the shelters get all $20. None of it goes to my campaign. Not one cent.
Same rule if you just give and skip the calendar. Every dollar you give goes to the group you pick.
At checkout, you choose one group. Your money goes to that group. Not sure? You can split it evenly between all five.
How does a group get on the list? The rule is the same for all. It must be a public shelter or a real charity. It must be here in Ouachita Parish. It must help animals. Know a group that fits? Email me and I will add it.
When sales end, I will post the total on this page. I will name each group and show what it got.

The printing. The UPS Store in West Monroe is store number 5068. We run it. It gives the printing for free. That is why no part of your $20 pays for printing.
Who charges your card. The charge comes from HMG Operations. That is my company. It is not my campaign. Your card bill will say HMG* OSCAR CALENDAR. The card fees are about on a $20 sale. I pay them, not the shelters.
Can I write it off? No. You are buying a calendar from my company. My company is not a charity. So this is not a tax write-off for you. A gift with no calendar works the same way. It goes to my company first, and I pass all of it on. That is not a write-off either.
Gifts with no calendar. You set the amount. The card fees on a gift work the same as on a sale. I pay them. Your card bill still says HMG* OSCAR CALENDAR. Gifts are counted with the sales, and I will post them in the same total.
The pictures. Oscar is a real dog. The pictures were made with AI. He did not drive the fire truck.
Not from the City. The City of Monroe did not make this calendar. The City does not sell it. It is just for fun, and for the shelters.
The count. You pick a group at checkout, and Stripe keeps a record of each pick. When sales end, I will post how many we sold. I will name each group and post what it got. If a number here is wrong, tell me and I’ll fix it.
